Technical ARTchitecture

"Pecha Kucha" is Japanese for "chit-chat".   The fast-paced format for art and architecture presentations limits each speaker to 20 slides, each shown for 20 seconds. This allows for multiple presenters in a single evening.

At a recent Portland Pecha Kucha Night in Portland, Maine, Cindy showed 20 slides of her work, ranging from early performance art work as Pink Inc (yes, that Pink Inc) to recent "Technical ARTchitecture" installations using the graphic, lighting and acoustic capabilities of fabric.

The event was held at SPACE Gallery, Portland's nonprofit, multi-use art and performance venue, and attended by over 200 people. Paul Lewandowski of Portland's SMRT Architecture served as master of ceremonies.
