Maine Creative Industries Gala Award Event honors Glenn Close and David Shaw on September 13. Transformit is providing artistic direction and the environment for the event. The Maine Center for Creativity has been instrumental in spreading the word about Maine through various efforts, most noticeably the world's largest public art project, the artistic painting of the oil tank farm on the Fore River in South Portland, ME.
