• Octanorm's stand at EuroShop housed the entire Octanorm Service Partner International (OSPI) network, so it had to be large to be able to accommodate all 150 members companies. Food and drink were served all day long, and the booth was always crowded. Octanorm manufactures aluminum extrusion systems whose products have been completely transformed by silicon edge graphics (SEG). Nearly all of the surfaces in the booth were of covered with SEG skins and Octanorm’s execution of this technology was near perfect. Since EuroShop happens only once every three years, every exhibit is new and D'art is no exception. This year’s exhibit was a massive structure made entirely of unfinished wood, which showed absolutely no fasteners and lent an air of mystery as to how it was constructed. http://www.d-art-design.de

The title of the exhibit is UNDO, referring to the the iterative process of design in which doing and undoing are necessary to bring the design forward, never to perfection, but closer and closer to it. The secrets were revealed upon entering the exhibit, where the viewer can see how it was done.
