Freestanding Dreamsicles

Transformit appeared at the ABX show at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center with a completely new exhibiting concept: working with the organizers of the show, Transformit created a 30' x 20' lounge space between the cafeteria and the men's room. Ten Dreamsicles around the perimeter became a pavilion of tranquility within the huge and busy tradeshow floor. Passersby found a sanctuary where they could sit, work at a table on their laptop, charge their phone, and even eat their lunch. At noon every day, Cindy Thompson lectured on both interior and exterior tensile fabric structures, including a slideshow featuring examples of our recent work. Without any overhead rigging, many engineers and architects asked us how the Dreamsicles were standing upright. Email us for the secret!
