MaineGeneral Proposal

Cindy Thompson proposed the installation shown here for MaineGeneral's Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care (HACCC).

Calling to mind a forest canopy, the suspended pieces move with the interior air conditioning. Overhead lights cast shadows of the pieces on the floor and walls of the room. These shadows are an integral design element of the installation as much as the actual pieces are themselves.
