TEDx Dirigo 2014

The 2014 TEDx Dirigo was once again held at Frontier in Brunswick, ME in early November. The organizers were looking for an internally lit fabric structure that would fit on a 12' x 12' stage and work well with the TEDx circular carpet. The Cherub turned out to be the perfect fit.  The lighting crew at AV Technik came up with a different lighting scenario for each speaker, and the glow from within the Cherub was captivating, and yet subtle enough not to interfere with the spot lights.  To shield the theater from the flourescent lights in the hallway, a Riff was used as an entry piece. With the fall foliage still in bloom, it seemed appropriate to use the vibrant red leaf pattern print to help compliment the TEDx red theme.  A Tremolo was used in the far corner as a "green room" space where the speakers would get their microphones wired before entering the stage.  You can watch all of the presentations online at:  http://tedxdirigo.com/speakers/
