BSA Honors Best Projects

Each year, the Boston Society of Architects honors the best designs of the past year. To keep the awards relevant to local practitioners without becoming provincial, the rules allow firms anywhere in the world to enter projects built in New England, OR New England firms to enter projects built anywhere in the world. Many great projects were honored.

This year, a special honor was awarded to Jane Thompson (no relation!) for her work over the past 50 years. She was instrumental in the restoration of Faneuil Hall Marketplace. She has been the architecture editor for Interiors magazine, and the founding editor of Industrial Design magazine, and she was deeply involved in the International Design Conference in Aspen from 1971 to 2002. Jane Thompson and her practice are still going strong!

She is shown here talking with Cindy Thompson, and Renee Loth, Editor of Architecture Boston magazine.

The stage is #16 from our collection of 30 predesigned, prepriced stages. Click here for details.
