Transformed space

The Anixter Center's recently remodeled lobby features Transformit FireFlys overhead, echoing the center’s multicolored kite logo.

Designs 4 Dignity, a non-profit organization that provides pro-bono design services for other non-profits, incorporated the FireFly as a focal point in the design. D4D’s lead designer for the project, Anna Barton, commented, “Transformit’s FireFlys were a critical component in transforming this previously institutional reception space into a delightful welcome for Anixter’s clients. Each day when we enter this space, we are joyfully reminded that everyone has ‘the ability to soar.’”

Anixter Center is one of the largest nonprofits in the Chicago area serving individuals with mental disabilities.
