    As Transformit’s first employee, Jon has pretty much done every job there is to do, and though it all has maintained his quiet composure.

    He was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, and graduated from UMASS Dartmouth with a BFA in sculpture. Prior to his arrival at Transformit, Jon assisted with art installations for sculptors Petah Coyne, Ralph Paquin and Anne Stoddard. At Transformit, Jon has made major improvements to the frame department. Jon is also responsible for the system of writing assembly instructions for our structures. For those who are faced with installing Transformit structures on site, Jon’s suggestion is to “read the instructions!”

    Work is important, but family is more so. Jon’s proudest achievement: “Married the girl of my dreams, with whom I am raising four (mostly) wonderful children.” His free-time activities are outdoors: gardening, canoeing, kayaking, bodysurfing, swimming, mountain biking, hiking, kite flying and building sandcastles.

    When he can, Jon volunteers his skill and energy with Habitat for Humanity.
