Richard Cohen, Creative Director

    Richard Cohen has been involved in design, fabrication and project management for more than 30 years. His undergraduate degree in glass & sculpture as well as his MFA in glass design has given him a unique overview of the complete design process. He has owned and managed a design and prototyping company and has worked as a principal in two nationally recognized design firms. He has done design work in a wide variety of fields, including architecture, medical equipment, lighting, consumer electronics, semiconductors, packaging, toys, instrumentation, house-wares and sporting goods.

    Richard lives in Mid-Coast Maine, where he is restoring a mid 1800’s farmhouse. When not at Transformit, he can be found fly-fishing, gardening or improving his smoked fish process.
