Doug Sneed

    Doug Sneed began his sales career at age ten, when he traded his 26” Schwinn for Richie Hill’s 20” StingRay and $5. He got his first business lesson at the same time: It’s not a sale until you get paid!

    After growing up in suburban Indiana, Doug served in the US Navy and, after several odd jobs “and I mean odd!” graduated from the University of Louisville. Since then, his adventurous and gregarious nature has led him to several successful positions in sales and sales management, most recently as an independent manufacturers representative in architectural interior materials.

    Doug is a member of the International Interior Design Association, the Institute of Store Planners, and the Maine Interior Design Association.

    He lives in Portland, Maine, with his wife. He is an avid skier who volunteers as an instructor for Maine Handicapped Skiing.
